Graduation Celebration

ESS Graduation Celebration – June 12, 2026 in Student Union Building (HUB)

ESS welcomes graduates, friends, family and other members of the UW community to the annual UW Department of Earth and Space Sciences Graduation Celebration.

The ceremony will take place in the HUB Lyceum and is expected to last about an hour and a half, following a reception with light refreshments and the opportunity to mingle with the graduates’ families. View the Class of 2025 here.

Graduating students should go through the Undergraduate Checklist for Graduation to ensure you have completed all the necessary steps required to graduate. If you have a question, please reach out to Student Services.

Parking

Campus parking for all graduation events will require a parking permit. Graduates will be able to pre-purchase campus parking permits for any event they are attending on this website via the Registration/Order Form. We highly recommend pre-purchasing permits as lots often sell out and this is the only way to guarantee you have parking.
